| POSITION SUMMARY In this role the Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and electrical/controls engineering systems, machinery, and process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
- Design and develop new systems which includes configuration, programming and technical support of PLC based control systems.
- Perform Concept, Design, Analysis, and Development of electrical assemblies, parts, and components.
- Create and update schematic and layout using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Supports manufacturing on assembly floor implementation and design, improving manufacturability; training and problem solving.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying new & existing systems including systems at client sites.
- Analyzing data and presenting findings in written reports.
- Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Project management within cost and time constrained environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Recent GraduatePreferred Education and Experience
- Preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in hazardous environmental electrical controls
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code and low voltage industrial controls
- AutoCAD drafting experience (AutoCAD electrical preferred)
- Allen Bradley PLC & HMI programming experience
