In this role the Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and electrical/controls engineering systems, machinery, and process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

  • Design and develop new systems which includes configuration, programming and technical support of PLC based control systems.
  • Perform Concept, Design, Analysis, and Development of electrical assemblies, parts, and components.
  • Create and update schematic and layout using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Supports manufacturing on assembly floor implementation and design, improving manufacturability; training and problem solving.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying new & existing systems including systems at client sites.
  • Analyzing data and presenting findings in written reports.
  • Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
  • Project management within cost and time constrained environments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    Recent GraduatePreferred Education and Experience
     
  • Preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in hazardous environmental electrical controls
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code and low voltage industrial controls
  • AutoCAD drafting experience (AutoCAD electrical preferred)
  • Allen Bradley PLC & HMI programming experience
